01. What is a poker run?

A poker run is an organized motorcycle event where riders travel over a prescribed course and are given a playing card at designated stopping points. At the end of the run, the person with the best (and worst) poker hand wins a prize.

02. Where can I get a pledge form?

The pledge form is on the second page of the Registration Form.

03. How can I get more pledges (and more prize tickets)?

  • Have a high sponsor at the top of the page; people will look at what other people give before they do.
  • Develop a prospective list of friends, family and co-workers.
  • Keep a pledge form with you at all times.

04. Can I pre-register?

Yes, please see the Pre-Registration page.

05. How much is it to register?

Riders: $25 (fee waived with $100 or more in pledges)
Passengers: $15 (fee waived with $100 or more in pledge)

06. What if it rains?

This ride is rain or shine.

07. Who do I make cheques payable to?

Ride the United Way

08. Is this ride open to all types of bikes?

Yes, all motorcycles,scooters and riders are welcome.

09. How is a prize winner determined when there is a tie?

In the case of a tie for all prizes, the winner will be determined by cutting of the cards. The person drawing the highest card wins (the ace is the highest card).
